Az Agaragar egy zselésítő anyag, ami különösen a vegetáriánusok között hódított szerte a világon. Alapösszetevőjét egy tengeri vörösmoszat fajból nyerik ki. Íztelen és színtelen por, amit általában az állati (sertés, marha) eredetű zselatin helyett használnak. Készíthetünk vele süteményt, lekvárt, vagy bármilyen ételt, amit sűríteni szükséges!
Felhasználás: Hideg folyadékban kell feloldani, majd úgy felmelegíteni. 2-3 percig javaslott főzni. A kocsonyás állagot akkor éri el, amikor a hőmérséklete visszahűl szobahőmérsékletűre.
1 liter folyadékhoz körülbelül 5 gramm agaragar szükséges.
